Beks is the solo project of Brisbane-based songwriter and DJ Rebecca Callander. With over 364 live shows under her belt across Australia and Japan—including major festivals like Groovin the Moo and Big Pineapple—Rebecca has honed her craft as a captivating and high-energy performer. In 2020, she launched Beks as an independent artist, debuting with the singles Stars in My Eyes and The Thing About Us, and soon after signed with Wise Music Publishing Global.

The Thing About Us quickly made waves, charting at #1 on Triple J Unearthed’s Dance Chart and #3 on the Electronic Chart, receiving national airplay and securing rotation on Nova/Coles Radio across 800+ stores. The track also earned a semi-finalist spot in the 2021 International Songwriting Competition. With praise from outlets like Hype Machine, The Sydney Morning Herald, Pop Muzik, and more, Beks continues to draw attention for her blend of dancefloor-ready beats, compelling songwriting, and electrifying live presence.
