YEMI SUL
Yemi Sul is a genre-fluid DJ known for her high-energy sets that move seamlessly across afro-house, electronic, UK rap, dancehall, and nostalgic pop. Drawing inspiration from punchy club beats, global sounds, and her Nigerian heritage, she creates vibrant, cross-cultural experiences that celebrate both her diasporic roots and millennial influences. Yemi began her career in 2016 by founding GIRLS, a series of sold-out parties dedicated to creating opportunities and visibility for female DJs. What started in Sydney’s underground scene has since evolved into an international career, taking her to stages across London, New York, Paris, India, and Australia.
Over the years, Yemi has opened for some of the biggest names in UK rap and grime, including Wiley, Dizzee Rascal, AJ Tracey, Dave, and Lady Leshurr. She has also supported Marc Kinchen and is recently confirmed to support Sonny Fodera, further cementing her reputation as a dynamic force on the global club circuit. Her performances include standout appearances such as the Notting Hill Carnival Afterparty in Paris, while her distinctive style has made her a sought-after collaborator for leading luxury fashion houses. Beyond DJing, Yemi has worked as a model and actor, and currently channels her creative vision through Freckle TV, her production company that develops events, content, and cultural experiences.
