SaxOnCello is thrilled to introduce a groundbreaking live project that takes audiences on an exhilarating journey from iconic film scores to dance music hits. This innovative show re-imagines spine-tingling Hans Zimmer scores, electrifies classics from Muse and Destiny’s Child to Beyoncé, and fuses mid-2000s dance anthems with current floor fillers. This celebration of all genres brings instruments to the stage in a fresh and immersive electronic live performance.

The ensemble features 8 instrumentalists, including synths, electric guitar, bass, harp, percussion, vocals, and of course, saxophone and cello. Produced in Melbourne by SaxOnCello, with contributions from Liam Brown (Client Liaison), UK composer/arranger Mike McLennan (Netflix: Living with Leopards), and film composer Lydia Davies, this project spares no effort in its production and writing. Liam manages the electronic elements, while Mike and Lydia infuse the music with cinematic grandeur. Renowned classical composer/arranger Matt Laing has crafted the beautiful instrumentation that is integral to this project, ensuring a captivating live show that is sure to leave a lasting impression.
