Perolas’ artistic vision is to showcase the full musical potential of their eclectic quartet, which features Liana Perillo on electroacoustic harp and vocals, Fabian Aravalés’ on trumpet, electric guitar, and synthesizer, Louis Spencely on drums and Rob Hamilton on electric and double bass.

Perolas brings the harp into the contemporary realm, coupling this sonorous instrument with analogue effects and a mix of acoustic and electronic instruments. From up-tempo beats to otherworldly soundscapes, Perolas brings a fusion of cultures to original compositions and musical arrangements, which earnt the band the award for ‘Best Intercultural Act’ at the 2019 Music Victoria Awards.

With the group's combined multi-instrumentalist talents, inventive percussion, and upbeat bass, they form an all-encompassing sensory musical experience.

In 2022, Perolas featured on ABC’s ‘Spicks & Specks’ Series 10 Episode 9, and the digital season of ‘Live from Melbourne Recital Centre;’ the band also earned the award for ‘Best Intercultural Act’ at the 2019 Music Victoria Awards.
