Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil—the land of Carnival—and raised in Milan, Italy, Yuri’s passion for rhythm and performance began at an early age. Surrounded by a mix of musical cultures, he developed a distinctive style shaped by his Brazilian heritage and global influences. Since moving to Melbourne in 2016, Yuri has become a key figure in both the Latin and entertainment scenes, performing as a percussionist and core member of Australia’s leading percussion team, Speranza.

Recognised as one of Melbourne’s most trusted party starters, Yuri has built a strong reputation performing at private events, bars, clubs, and major corporate functions.
