STEPHANIE STAMOPOULOS

Stephanie Sarah Stamopoulos is an internationally award-winning cellist who has performed extensively across Europe and Australia at prestigious venues including The Royal Albert Hall in London and Bridgewater Hall in Manchester. She trained at the Royal Northern College of Music, completing both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Cello Performance under Karine Georgian and Sally Pendlebury, before continuing her studies in Vienna with Maestra Natalia Gutman at the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna (MUK).

Steph is a prize-winning musician, having received awards including First Prize at the 2020 Mahler Cello Competition, the Australian Concerto and Vocal Competition, and the RNCM Salon Prize. Her orchestral and chamber career includes performances with the BBC Philharmonic and as Principal Cellist with Opera North, as well as chamber music recognition through the Olwyn Game Memorial Award. A versatile performer on both acoustic and electric cello, she has appeared at weddings, VIP sporting events, and international functions across Europe and Australia, from Lake Como to major concert halls, showcasing a wide-ranging and dynamic musical career.
