GENEVIEVE BROWN

Genevieve Brown is a compelling jazz vocalist and improviser known for her intimate, emotionally rich sound and nuanced phrasing. Raised in a musical household in Sydney, Australia, she began performing with her guitarist father at a young age, developing a deep connection to jazz through early exposure to live performance and the local jazz scene.

She later earned a Bachelor of Music in Jazz from the Queensland Conservatorium, Griffith University (QCGU), and has since performed across Australia and internationally, including the Siena International Jazz Festival in Italy (2023). In 2024, Genevieve released her debut EP Spring Is Here, which was warmly received and featured in Fine Music FM Magazine. She has also learned from and collaborated with leading jazz artists such as Will Vinson, Walter Smith III, David Binney, Kristin Berardi, Jo Lawry, Jazzmeia Horn, and Phil Stack.
