Ruva has been captivating Australian audiences since her teenage years, beginning her journey on the Melbourne jazz bar circuit at just 16. Her professional musical theatre debut came in 2013 as Shenzi in The Lion King, where her deep musical instincts—rooted in her Zimbabwean heritage—shone through. A proud alumna of the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School (VCASS) and a graduate of Melbourne University’s Victorian College of the Arts with a Bachelor of Music Performance, Ruva quickly established herself as a leading figure in musical theatre with standout roles in productions like We Will Rock You, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, Ragtime, and Moulin Rouge The Musical.

Beyond theatre, Ruva expresses her artistry through her original music, blending pop, RnB, and afrobeat influences in her 2018 EP Humble Brag. Her single "S.W.E.A.T" was prominently featured during the 2021 Australian Open broadcast on Channel 9. A dynamic and versatile live performer, Ruva is in demand for corporate events, cabaret shows, and intimate gatherings alike. With acting credits including Neighbours, she’s a true triple threat with a powerful presence, breaking barriers and redefining what it means to entertain in Australia’s diverse entertainment landscape.
