Let’s face it, turning 50 is a big deal and a milestone that simply must be celebrated in style. So, when Brett asked Beck to make his birthday getaway a reality, she pulled out all the stops!
Where else but Queensland? Hayman Island to be exact!
Surrounded by palm trees, clear blue seas and their nearest and dearest, Brett and his lovely wife Joanna were in paradise at the renowned InterContinental hotel.
The first night set the tone, Beck arranged a sunset cruise on a luxurious private charter, complete with DJ Claire Elliott and Gary on Sax to serenade partygoers, who sipped on the finest French bubbles. While those with a need for speed enjoyed the IMPULSIVE superyacht’s water toys.
After all that action, a day spent lounging on an aqua cabana was exactly what guests needed. Beck ensured there were activities for all tastes, from pampering sessions at the Hayman Spa to paddle boarding lessons to explore the striking Great Barrier Reef.
Saturday night featured a soiree of the senses, with arrival drinks and canapés on Langford Lawn, followed by a decadent three-course dinner. Beck took care of all the styling and made the party fit perfectly with Brett’s theme, ‘white tropical luxe with a touch of gold’.
With incredible live music acts, it’s no surprise everyone was up out of their chairs and onto the dance floor, drinks in hand.
The next day Beck was back with her magic, removing all hangovers (OK, maybe there’s a limit to her gifts), *cough cough*, reducing all hangovers, with a relaxing picnic recovery lunch on Hayman’s main beach.
Brett and his guests walked away from this spectacular weekend chock-full of memories, wondering how they’d ever top such a grand event… Did someone say 60th back on the superyacht?!
